How to Install any Version of Windows by Making USB Drive Bootable

I am providing you the step by step guide to install any version of Windows operating system ( Windows XP , Window 7, Window 8 etc) in your Computer with a Pen Drive or USB flash drive so there is no need of any CD/DVD.

Requirements

  1. USB flash drive/Pen Drive with a minimum of 1 GB space for Window XP.
  2. USB flash drive/Pen Drive with a minimum of 3-4 GB space for Window 7,Window 8.
  3. Image of the type of Operating System you want to install eg. Window XP, Window 7, Window 8 etc.
  4. Image file must be of type .iso

Procedure to Intall Window Xp, Window 7 ,Window 8


Initial Step:-Download and install Microsoft official Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool from here or from Microsoft.com to turn a USB flash drive into a bootable Windows XP ,Window 7  ,WIndow 8.

Step 1- After installing the tool ,run that tool and Choose the ISO image of your windows version that you want to install from your computer.

The tool only accepts .ISO images, so we recommend that you convert different format of your  window image or DVD into .ISO.

Step 2- Simply choose your USB device/Pen Drive location.

Step 3- Make sure that you are choosing the correct USB device. If you have other data on the device, move it to your hard drive or somewhere else before proceeding.

  Step 4- If this message will appear than first back up your data and  click Erase USB Device.
Otherwise proceeds further.

Step 5- You will get another prompt warning you that all the data will be wiped. Click Yes to continue.

  Step 6- The final and last step is creating bootable USB device..

If you get this message "Bootable USB device created successfully" that means now you can install your Windows version with this USB device.
